Each year, LPAN sponsors tickets to hundreds of under-represented high school and college students interested in attending a live production event in Theatre, Art, Music or Film. If interested, please submit a request to Tickets@lpanproductions.org.
Each year, LPAN partners with select aligned theatre companies to pioneer brave new works, with a minimum of one co-production each year. These partnerships are designed to support Latino themed theatre, writers, and producers. Special emphasis is placed on up-and-coming producers, where LPAN’s support can provide a training ground and opportunity for the project partners to advance their practice and the field as a whole. Stay tuned for LPAN’s 2015 partnership announcement!
Pan del Calle unites those who live and work in Skid Row, inviting them to break bread with one another and share their stories with visitors through street theatre in local Artwalks that invites audiences to step into each others’ shoes. The name, Pan del Calle, is about the common food that nourishes a community – geting back to the bread and spectacle origins of theatre – and bringing stories out of the theatre and into the everyday lives of people on the street. Stay tuned for Pan news in 2015!
LPAN is committed to fostering international collaboration between the United States and Mexico, and throughout Latin America, through the arts, with a focus on international youth programs that use the arts to unite diverse people and positively impact the lives of youth.
